This was my first experience buying and selling a home. I was overwhelmed to say the least. We wanted to sell our home in Harford County and move to Worcester County, close to Ocean City, Maryland. To make matters more complicated we experienced an unexpected death in the family, which resulted in needing to sell that family members home. We also had another family member who wanted to buy our own home but was also in a precarious situation. I first heard of Steve Warfield’s buy and sell program when I approached a homeowner with a realtor’s post (no sign yet) in their front yard. I desperately wanted a home in this particular neighborhood so my boyfriend and I knocked on the door to inquire. The homeowner said the house was already sold, though it had not yet hit the multiple listing. The homeowner told us about their realtor, Steven Warfield, who sold the house quickly and saved them money through his buy and sell program. The program is simple, list your home for sale with Steve and agree to use him as your buyer’s agent as well. We paid nothing to Steve to sell our home; we paid only the agent who brought in the buyer. On the other end the seller of the property we purchased paid Steve’s commission. Simply put, we paid a total of 3% to sell our home and no fees to buy the new one. This saved us almost $21,000 in realtor fees last year on the sale of two homes.
